Job Overview Every day, people come to VRChat to meet others, discover new experiences, express themselves, and build lasting communities. Few product roles combine the rigor of consumer internet, the complexity of social systems, the novelty of immersive computing, and the leverage of a creator-driven platform. We’re looking for a Director of Product to lead one of VRChat’s highest-priority consumer product areas. This is a senior individual contributor role for a product leader who can identify high-leverage opportunities, define clear strategy, and drive cross-functional execution that delivers measurable results. The exact scope of this role may flex based on the strengths of the person we hire and the company’s highest-priority needs. It may span areas such as growth, core user experience, discovery and personalization, trust & safety, social systems, or monetization. Regardless of scope, the mandate is the same: make VRChat more valuable to users, strengthen the health of the platform, and drive durable company growth. You’ll partner closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Community, Trust & Safety, Operations, Legal, and executive leadership. Success in this role requires strong consumer product judgment, a rigorous experimentation mindset, and a track record of shipping products that moved real user and business metrics. This role has significant executive visibility and regularly communicates progress, tradeoffs, and outcomes to leadership.
