Product Owner (Expert Product Manager)

Negotiable

As Product Owner (Expert Product Manager), you will take full operational, strategic, and commercial ownership (P&L) of our rapidly scaling resource management title launched in 2025. Originally built by leveraging and evolving a highly successful, market-validated core framework from our franchise portfolio, this title has adapted those proven mechanics into a massive new setting. Having experienced explosive growth over the past year, the project is now on track to transition into its next lifecycle phase as the standalone, premier flagship title of our entire franchise. To drive this next phase of growth, our game product and execution team is structured into two dedicated execution tracks, each powered by a specialized Product Manager (PM) and a dedicated Project Manager (PJM): - The LiveOps Track: Focused on live events, recurring monetization, and community-driven loops. - The Strategic Roadmap Track: Focused on deep feature development, core game loops, and long-term retention systems. As the Game GM/PO, you sit on top of these two tracks. You will act as the ultimate strategic orchestrator, functionally aligning and guiding these track-based PM/PJM dyads to translate our high-level franchise strategy into a unified, high-performing product engine. While the track PMs and PJMs own the day-to-day agile mechanics, scheduling, and sprint planning, you will focus on the high-level roadmap, commercial targets, and team priorities. You will work directly with your track PJMs to ensure roadmap feasibility and drive the overall production engine to meet our aligned fiscal goals. Note on Team Structure & Matrix Setup: To keep your focus 100% on product direction, strategic vision, and game growth, this role does not have direct HR/line reports, for the time being. Line management for the engineering, art, and design disciplines is handled by our studio discipline heads, and the track PMs report to the Director of LiveOps for their career development. The track-specific PJMs and PMs manage the day-to-day sprint scheduling and tactical execution, leaving you free to drive functional and strategic leadership to hit our P&L targets. YOUR MISSION 1. Product & Commercial Ownership (P&L) - P&L & Forecast Accountability: Take complete ownership of the game's commercial health, driving the production team to meet aligned financial goals. - Budget Alignment: Partner directly with the Head of Franchise (HoF) and Director of LiveOps (DoL) to define the annual budget and P&L goals (forecast) that align with our overarching franchise strategy. - Performance Tracking: Actively track progress against targets across the fiscal year (FY) and confidently implement course corrections as required to safeguard our commercial trajectory. - Team & Tooling Advocacy: Define the team and tooling needs of the game, collaborating closely with the HoF and DoL to secure resources. 2. Strategic Roadmap Design & Track Orchestration - Full Roadmap Ownership: Own the long-term product roadmap and prioritize the backlog to balance commercial beats with player engagement. - Functional Track Leadership: Set clear strategic goals, guardrails, and commercial frameworks for the LiveOps and Strategic Roadmap tracks, ensuring both pipelines are deeply synchronized. - High-Level Feasibility Partnering: Work directly with the track PMs to ensure the high-level roadmap and priorities are well-planned, feasible, and realistic given the team’s resources and constraints. - Strategic vs. Tactical Boundary: Empower t

Product Marketing Manager - BitLife Franchise

Negotiable

Level: mid to senior individual contributor. This person owns positioning, launches, and messaging, and partners with the UA, data, CRM, and creative teams rather than running all of them. Location: Miami (hybrid, Tuesday - Friday in-office) As Product Marketing Manager for BitLife, you sit between our developers and 100 million-plus players. When we ship a Black Market Expansion or a Cult Leader Pack, you are the one who turns it into a moment players cannot ignore. You own how BitLife is positioned, how each drop goes to market, and how we talk to the world about the game. You will not do this alone. Paid UA runs out of our central UA team, and you will work with them hand in hand. You also partner closely with data, CRM, and creative. You set the story and the plan, and you pull those teams together to land it. YOUR MISSION - Own product positioning and messaging for BitLife. Turn features and content drops into launches people actually care about, always in BitLife's irreverent voice. - Build and run GTM plans for new content, features, and franchise expansion, from brief to launch to follow-up. - Own creator and UGC marketing as a primary growth channel. BitLife lives on TikTok, YouTube, and Reddit. Build and run the creator program, seed content moments, and turn player-made clips into reach. - Market to and mobilize our community : Turn an already passionate Reddit and Discord base into launch amplifiers, not just a feedback source. - Understand our players : In-game data, user research, and community feedback to define audiences and what makes them tick. - Run competitive and market analysis : Spot growth opportunities before the rest of the category does. - Drive organic growth activations : live events, creator/influencer partnerships, referral loops, and the occasional weird idea that works. - Support influencer, IP, and brand collaborations , from pitch to execution. - Work closely with the central UA & ASO team and creative on the store funnel: messaging, App Store page, and campaign creative direction. - Partner with the data team on measurement. Read LTV, retention, and ROAS fluently, and turn results into your next move. - Feed player insight back into product so the game keeps getting better. YOUR BACKSTORY - 5 to 7 years in mobile game marketing, ideally on a free to play or live ops title. Casual or simulation experience is a strong plus given BitLife's broad audience. - A track record of product marketing and launches that moved real numbers (i.e. installs, retention, revenue per drop, and pay conversion rates). - Comfortable with mobile metrics. You can read LTV, retention curves, and ROAS and act on them. You do not need to build the models yourself, but you know what they mean. - Fluency in BitLife's brand of humor. Dark, absurd, deadpan, meme-native. You can write in it and defend it. This is non-negotiable for the role. - Strong storytelling and positioning instincts. - Hands-on experience with creator, UGC, and social-first growth

These are live service products with active player bases, real revenue, and decisions that matter immediately. We need someone who can hold the vision, read the numbers, and make the hard calls on what the product should be - then drive a cross-functional team to get there. If you are a senior product manager looking for a role with real ownership and long-term ambition, this role is for you. YOUR MISSION - Own the product roadmap for both Empire titles: set priorities, communicate rationale, and ensure strategy translates into shipped results - Be the final product voice on feature scope, economy design, and Live Ops direction - Lead and develop a multi-functional product team covering Game Design, Live Ops, and CRM WHAT YOU WILL DO - Develop a thorough understanding of both Empire titles and their competitive landscape; play the games, know the competitors, and bring that perspective into product decisions - Translate strategy into a clear, outcome-driven roadmap; define requirements, success metrics, and the briefs that enable efficient execution - Approve concepts from Design, Live Ops, and CRM; make sure offers, campaigns, and sales calendars serve the roadmap and business targets - Maintain deep KPI fluency; spot opportunities and risks across the full product funnel, from acquisition to late-game engagement - Drive AI adoption across the product and design team; identify tools and workflows that raise output quality and speed - Lead and develop your team with disciplinary ownership and honest, development-focused feedback YOUR PROFILE - Proven track record in product management for live F2P games - Strong product sense with deep F2P monetization knowledge: you understand what drives player behaviour, can diagnose economy health, design offers, and reason about revenue levers directly - Experience with Live Ops and CRM as product levers, not just operational tasks; comfortable navigating data without depending on analysts for every answer - Decisive, aligned, and ownership-driven: you build buy-in without needing consensus, make calls at pace, and treat impact as your personal responsibility - Clear, direct communicator; you write crisp requirements and translate complex tradeoffs into simple choices for others - Genuine interest in developing the people around you; you invest in your team and give honest feedback - Deep conviction that AI is a force multiplier, not a nice-to-have; you use tools hands-on every day and actively push for meaningful adoption in the team WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Product is the core of what the Empire Family does - and this is the role that connects long-term strategy to what ships every week. You report directly to the Product Director, have real decision authority from day one, and work inside the product rather than alongside it. The Empire Family is in an active development phase with meaningful long-term projects on the horizon: a platform transition, a new continent launching in 2027, and a serious bid for renewed growth. There is real work here, and the scope to do it pro
