Product Manager, Developer Ecosystem
Reddit is a community of communities. It’s built on shared interests, passion, and trust, and is home to the most open and authentic conversations on the internet. Every day, Reddit users submit, vote, and comment on the topics they care most about. With 100,000+ active communities and approximately 130 million daily active unique visitors, Reddit is one of the internet’s largest sources of information. For more information, visit www.redditinc.com . About the Team Reddit's developer ecosystem is one of the biggest opportunities to make Reddit more useful, expressive, extensible, and valuable. Today, most people who build on Reddit are developers: they write code, use Devvit, work with APIs, and ship apps or games through a relatively technical workflow. That ecosystem is growing quickly and remains critical. But the future is bigger than developers alone. AI-assisted building is changing who can create software. The next generation of Reddit apps, games, tools, community agents, content formats, and workflows should be buildable by many more people: developers, technically curious creators, moderators, community builders, game designers, data partners, and eventually people who can describe what they want without needing to code it by hand. The Developer Ecosystem team owns the product systems that help this broader set of builders discover opportunities, create successfully, launch high-quality apps and games, reach the right users and communities, adopt new platform capabilities, and keep improving after launch. This includes surfaces and systems like developers.reddit.com, AI-assisted creation, app review, developer and creator onboarding, app marketplace experiences, platform capabilities, best practices, and support for emerging creator categories. About the Role We are looking for a Staff Product Manager to lead Reddit's Builder Ecosystem product strategy. This person will define the roadmap for how Reddit moves from a developer-only ecosystem to a broader builder ecosystem where AI-assisted and no-code creation become first-class parts of the platform. The role spans developer growth, creator onboarding, AI-assisted building, app quality, ecosystem incentives, platform capabilities, app marketplace strategy, operational tooling, feature adoption, and new builder categories. This is a high-ambiguity platform role with direct business, product, and community impact. The right PM will be able to bridge two worlds: they should understand the needs of serious developers and platform engineers, while also having strong conviction that Reddit can unlock a much larger wave of builders by making creation more accessible, guided, AI-native, and outcome-oriented. What You'll Do - Define the product strategy for Reddit's Developer Ecosystem, including the transition from code-first developers to a broader base of AI-assisted creators. - Own the roadmap for developers.reddit.com as the primary builder portal, including onboarding, docs, app management, analytics, review status, feature access, education, examples, templates, and AI-assisted creation entry points. - Lead strategy for AI-assisted app creation, including prompt-to-app workflows, AI building tools, no-code or low-code experiences, reusable templates, generated scaffolds, and systems that help creators turn ideas into useful Reddit-native apps. - Build the product approach for an App Marketplace that helps users, moderators, communities, and internal teams discover high-quality apps, games, agents, tools, and community experiences. - Improve app review and ecosystem operations through tooling, automation, and AI-assisted workflows, including LLM-powered app review, policy checks, quality signals, and reviewer efficiency. - Partner with Engineering to prioritize core platform capabilities and performance improvements such as webhooks, webviews, APIs, SDKs, tooling, observability, and other primitives builders need to create reliable apps. - Drive more successful, retentive, and popular apps and games by identifying best practices, improving templates, shaping incentives, and creating clearer paths from idea to launch to growth. - Identify and support new creator and developer categories - Partner with internal teams such as Contribution, Community Builders, Games, Search, Recommendations, Safety, and Ads to help them launch new functionality through the developer ecosystem. - Define and improve feature adoption programs so builders understand, test, and successfully use new platform capabilities. - Work with developer relations to establish the measurement system for the ecosystem, including weekly active developers/creators, NPS/CSAT, app launches, app retention and more - Create clear frameworks for when Reddit should build platform primitives, launch templates, fund builders, partner with external teams, promote apps, or shut down low-quality or low-trust ecosystem behavior. - Lead cross-functional alignment across Product, Engineering, DevRel, Community, Data, Safety, Legal, Policy, Support, BD, and senior leadership. What We're Looking For - Experience leading high-ambiguity platform, developer ecosystem, creator ecosystem, marketplace, gaming, AI tooling, or developer experience products. - Strong product judgment for creation platforms: understanding what makes a platform powerful for advanced developers, approachable for new creators, trustworthy for communities, and worth sustained investment. - Comfort with code, APIs, developer tools, technical platform tradeoffs, and engineering conversations, paired with strong conviction that AI-assisted and no-code creation will expand who can build on Reddit. - Ability to reason across multiple sides of the ecosystem: developers, creators, users, moderators, communities, internal teams, partners, and Reddit's business priorities. - Experience improving developer or creator onboarding, docs, portals, SDKs, APIs, marketplaces, app review, app distribution, AI creation tools, or app-building workflows. - Strong analytical judgment and comfort defining metrics for ecosystem health, builder productivity, app quality, retention, distribution, and business impact. - Ability to partner deeply with Engineering on platform capabilities, performance, reliability, primitives, observability, and build-vs-buy decisions. - Strong product sense for apps, games, agents, content creation tools, community-native experiences, and the kinds of lightweight software that should exist inside Reddit communities. - Comfort working with AI-assisted creation tools, LLM-based workflows, prompt-to-app systems, or other emerging ways of helping more people build software. - Excellent written communication and decision frameworks that help teams make crisp investment decisions in ambiguous spaces. Benefits: - Comprehensive Healthcare Benefits and Income Replacement Programs - 401k with Employer Match - Global Benefit programs that fit your lifestyle, from workspace to professional development to caregiving support - Family Planning Support - Gender-Affirming Care - Mental Health & Coaching Benefits - Flexible Vacation & Paid Volunteer Time Off - Generous Paid Parental Leave Pay Transparency: This job posting may span more than one career level. What You’ll Bring - 10-12+ years of product design experience, including leadership of platform-scale or ecosystem-level initiatives across multiple product areas in consumer technology. - A portfolio showing Principal-level scope: original product vision, systems architecture, exceptional interaction design, executive influence, end-to-end coherence, and measurable impact beyond a single team or launch. - Experience defining foundational product architecture, shared interaction models, or platform strategies adopted by multiple teams. - Strong ability to influence product priorities and executive decisions without direct authority. - A track record of connecting long-term product vision to executable near-term launches, experiments, and organizational commitments. - Expert interaction design and information architecture skills, with sound judgment about when to reuse, evolve, or create new patterns. - Fluency with AI-assisted design and coding workflows, especially using prototypes to validate system behavior and improve strategic decisions. - Strong understanding of research, data, experimentation, accessibility, and technical constraints, plus exceptional communication and facilitation skills. This is a role for a designer who can make complex ecosystems feel simple, coherent, and worth coming back to. Senior Product Manager, Ads - Shopping Catalogs

Every day, Reddit users submit, vote, and comment on the topics they care most about. With 100,000+ active communities and approximately 130 million daily active unique visitors, Reddit is one of the internet’s largest sources of information. For more information, visit www.redditinc.com . The Team: Shopping at Reddit is one of the company's biggest bets. Shopping is core to Reddit's monetization strategy and Dynamic Product Ads (DPA) is one of our fastest-growing verticals. The Shopping product org has end-to-end ownership of how advertisers and Redditors interact with products and purchasing decisions. Our strategy is built on Reddit's unique strength - authentic, community-generated content. The Opportunity: The Product Catalog is the single source of truth for product data across paid and organic Shopping. It powers paid and organic shopping products and the Product Knowledge Graph (PKG). We're hiring a Product Manager to own Catalogs and Applied PKG end-to-end. The aspiration is to turn this asset into a platform that drives ROAS and powers product discovery across Reddit. This role sits at the intersection of advertiser tooling, product & content understanding and user experiences. You will partner deeply with the Catalogs engineering team, the Ads Content Understanding (ACU) team, and the Shopping product team across performance, formats and more. What You'll Do: - Cut advertiser onboarding friction and prepare for the next phase of Shopping @ Reddit. Move catalog onboarding from days to hours through better error handling, automated feed-issue resolution, productID/item-group-ID matching improvements, and (longer-term) URL-to-catalog automation. Stand up the foundations of a Reddit Merchant Center. - Ship the next phase of catalog innovation. Drive LLM-based catalog enrichment (fill missing attributes, improve descriptions, derive gender/age/category), catalog-driven ad overlays ("Popular with Redditors", "Top Pick", price/promo), and Catalog Insights that show advertisers how their products perform organically and paid on Reddit. Help advertisers with catalog diagnostics to improve performance on ads and organic offerings. - Own the Catalogs & Applied PKG vision. Define the 1–3 year strategy that turns Catalogs into a platform - the spine connecting Reddit's paid and organic Shopping surfaces - Unlock new advertiser demand through catalog capabilities. Land Limitless Catalogs (20M+ product catalogs for large retailers and marketplaces), regional metadata for global clients, and the Shopify integration that expands SMB Shopping on Reddit. - Build the Universal Catalog and Applied PKG. Collaborate with content understanding teams to connect ad catalogs to the Product Knowledge Graph and organic product mentions on Reddit. - Be the Shopping platform voice across Reddit. Represent Catalogs and Applied PKG in Shopping leadership reviews and exec readouts. What You Bring: - Experience: 5+ years of Product Management experience. At least 3 years in AdTech, retail media, marketplaces, or shopping/e-commerce platforms. - Commerce / Product Understanding : Experience with product knowledge graphs, product entity resolution, or product taxonomies at scale. An understanding of how digital shopping works across either organic or paid products. - AI fluency. Comfortable with creating scalable agentic workflows, using AI for data analysis, task automation and more. Evidence of building AI products - either at work or as hobby. - 0-1 instincts paired with execution rigor. You can scope an MVP, ship it, and then operate it. You've done both - built net-new and improved a running production system. - Cross-functional leadership. You've delivered initiatives that span 3+ engineering teams plus PMM, Sales, and Ops. You communicate effectively with executives and earn trust with senior engineers. - Bias to action. Comfortable making decisions with imperfect information, making reasonable risk/reward tradeoffs, and recovering fast when wrong. Nice to Have: - ML fluency. You've shipped ML-powered products in ads, content personalization, retrieval, ranking, or content understanding. You can reason about retrieval, candidate selection, ranking signals, and the tradeoffs between LLM-derived features and traditional features. You don't need to write the model; you need to know enough to lead the people who do. - Experience with LLM-driven content understanding or feature engineering. - Experience shipping for SMB-via-platform channels (Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce). - Experience building or operating a Merchant Center, catalog QA tool, or advertiser-facing data console. Perks and Benefits: - 100% remote opportunity (we have 4 office locations for hybrid/onsite work preference in NY, SF, LA and Chicago) - Competitive salary and equity options - Comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision) & workplace perks (home office set up stipend etc) - Generous 401k matching - Flexible vacation policy - Paid parental leave (4+ months) - Family planning support - Paid volunteer time off LI-AS1 Pay Transparency: This job posting may span more than one career level. Group Product Manager, Finance Technology
About the Role Reddit is looking for a Group Product Manager to lead the product management of our Finance SaaS portfolio, our systems that run treasury, planning, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, quote-to-cash, payroll, and equity. This is a player-coach role: you'll coach and manage a small team of SaaS product managers who each own a domain of Finance's application stack, while personally owning your own set of applications as a player. This role serves as the orchestration layer for Finance and AI Transformation, requiring you to advise senior executives, influence strategic direction, and navigate complex matrixed environments to translate high-level strategy into measurable business outcomes. You set the product vision and roadmap across the Finance SaaS landscape, decide what gets built and bought, drive adoption, and own the vendor relationships that underpin the stack. You partner closely with the Enterprise Architecture & Engineering team. They own how systems are built and integrated; you own what we build, why, and when. You will be at the forefront of our AI-first finance strategy, championing the next generation of intelligent automation to redefine efficiency and scalability across our global operations. If you're energized by translating complex finance processes into clean, well-run systems, thrive at the seam between business and technology, and want to both lead a team and stay close to the product yourself, this role is for you. What You'll Do Product Strategy & Portfolio Ownership - Own the end-to-end product vision and multi-quarter roadmap for Reddit's Finance SaaS portfolio across P2P, R2R, QTC, payroll & equity, and treasury/investments/EPM. - As the lead for Finance & AI Transformation, you are the catalyst for shifting Reddit’s finance teams from manual processes to AI-enabled workflows. This includes championing a “finance engineer” mindset, proactively identifying AI use cases for close automation and anomaly detection, and fostering a culture where data-driven innovation is embedded in our operating model. - Translate Finance's priorities (e.g., close acceleration, scalability, public-company rigor, M&A) into a sequenced, defensible roadmap. - Lead build-vs-buy and vendor selection decisions; serve as the product voice in Finance technology investments alongside the Enterprise Architect. - Define and enforce a consistent product operating model across the team: intake, prioritization, release management, change management, and adoption measurement. - Identify opportunities to improve Finance processes through AI-enabled workflows, reconciliations, anomaly detection, approval copilots, and close automation. - Drive roadmap prioritization using measurable outcomes such as close cycle reduction, automation rates, SOX compliance effectiveness, and Finance productivity improvements. - Establish a single, transparent demand pipeline so Finance stakeholders can see what's planned, in flight, and shipped. - Assess the end-to-end finance processes to identify manual workflows, process gaps, control weaknesses, data quality issues, and opportunities to improve and enable AI-powered solutions.. - Create a cross-functional decision framework for Finance capabilities, including clear ownership, intake, prioritization, readiness criteria, and business sign-off. - Identify, design, and launch new features and system capabilities that enhance user efficiency while driving incremental value for the business. - Partner with finance leadership to enable AI use across teams, fundamentally shifting the organization toward a "finance engineer" mindset where finance teams are empowered to build, automate, and innovate within our systems. - Drive end-to-end finance transformation initiatives across Quote-to-Cash (QTC), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Record-to-Report (R2R), and Hire-to-Retire (H2R), ensuring alignment between process improvements and long-term scalability. Strategic Orchestration & Influence - Advise senior Finance and Tech leadership on roadmap trade-offs, balancing speed, risk, and long-term impact. - Navigate organizational dynamics to secure alignment across Finance, Tech, and Business partners. - Promote harmony between internal teams and external integration partners by resolving bottlenecks and managing cross-functional dependencies. - Lead a rigorous diligence program to evaluate and optimize system performance, workflows, and adoption metrics to strengthen operational quality. Team Leadership - Directly manage a team of SaaS product managers, each owning a Finance domain (P2P & R2R, QTC, Payroll & Equity). - Set clear direction and priorities for each domain, and create space for deep, high-quality product work. - Develop your team's craft through roadmap review, stakeholder coaching, and regular 1:1s focused on growth. - Serve as an escalation point and thought partner when your PMs hit ambiguity, contention over priorities, or cross-functional friction. - Build the bench: define the team's coverage model, identify gaps, and grow the function as Finance scales. Hands-On Product Ownership: - Maintain direct ownership over a specific set of applications, leading their product roadmaps and managing key stakeholder relationships. - This isn't a purely managerial role: you'll run intake, prioritize enhancements, manage releases, and partner directly with Finance and the Eng team to deliver in your own portfolio. - Stay close enough to the work to credibly coach your team and make sharp product tradeoffs. Vendor and Demand Management - Own Finance SaaS vendor relationships at the portfolio level: renewals, SLAs, roadmap influence, escalations, and spend rationalization. - Bring a demand-management mindset to intake; help Finance stakeholders articulate needs, size effort, and sequence work effectively rather than absorbing every request. - Partner with Procurement and Finance leadership on tooling spend, contract timing, and consolidation opportunities. - Maintain a clear view of total cost of ownership and license utilization across the stack. Stakeholder Partnership - Act as the primary product liaison for Finance leadership, translating business requirements into roadmap decisions and communicating tradeoffs clearly. - Partner with FP&A, Technical Accounting, Revenue, Treasury, Payroll, and Finance Operations to understand pain points and proactively surface system improvements. - Work hand-in-glove with the Enterprise Architect and Engineering team to land integrations, data quality, and technical delivery against the product roadmap. - Support M&A activity (e.g., systems due diligence, gap analysis, integration sequencing, and adoption planning for acquired entities). What We're Looking For - 8+ years in product management, business/finance systems, or finance transformation, including 2+ years directly managing people. - Demonstrated ownership of Finance SaaS platforms across multiple domains (ERP, EPM/CPM, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, treasury, or payroll). - Track record of building and running a product/intake operating model: roadmaps, prioritization frameworks, release and change management. - Strong vendor management chops: selection, renewals, SLAs, and influencing vendor roadmaps - Prior people management experience, with a track record of developing PM or systems-analyst talent. - Strong ability to operate across abstraction levels: comfortable in an executive roadmap discussion and in the configuration details of a specific platform. - Excellent communication skills: you can frame a portfolio strategy for a CFO and a sprint priority for an engineer in the same afternoon. - Strong knowledge of financial controls, audit readiness, SOX requirements, data quality, and compliance impacts. - Experience defining close transformation roadmaps, reconciliation strategies, reporting readiness plans, and UAT strategies. - Proven success scaling products and owning business outcomes in high-growth, complex environments. Bonus Points - Experience at a high-growth public technology company - Familiarity with Reddit's existing Finance tech stack (NetSuite, Workato, Adaptive, Zip, Coupa, Ramp, Workday, Salesforce or comparable) or similar environments - Familiarity with advertising platforms and transformation initiatives spanning quote-to-cash or procure-to-pay workflows - Experience supporting M&A workstreams (diligence, integration, cutover) - Exposure to SOX compliance considerations in finance systems - Background partnering with Corporate Engineering or shared-services models Why This Role, Why Reddit Reddit's Finance organization is scaling rapidly through organic growth, internal investments, and increasing public-company rigor. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape how Finance technology evolves at a consequential moment: owning the product direction for a portfolio that touches every corner of the company, leading a team, and keeping your own hands on the work. You'll have the autonomy to set direction, the team support to execute, and the organizational access to make product decisions that stick. Pay Transparency: This job posting may span more than one career level. In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission.
