You don't get stuck on pretty UI or deep abstractions and can balance between craft, speed, and the bottom line. - You have strong beliefs, loosely held. You're a good listener who collaborates well with different stakeholders. You observe and internalize all inputs and feedback to help you reach an optimal decision. - You understand how to tell stories using both words and visuals, and strategize the best ways to drive alignment. - You value working cross-functionally with project management, engineering, research and data — as well as design peers. WHO WE ARE Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work. ABOUT THE ROLE: Notion's engineering and product teams are shipping faster than ever, which means there's more for customers to discover, understand, and adopt than ever before. We're looking for a Product Marketing Manager to drive awareness of new Notion features and capabilities, and to run the programs that turn early activation into lasting adoption. You're a messaging master with a genuine point of view — someone who can build narratives sharp and specific enough to cut through an increasingly noisy market — and a strategic partner to Product from early development all the way through go-to-market. This role can be based in either San Francisco or New York City. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days. WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE: - Lead launches big and small, coordinating efforts across our Marketing and GTM org to land a successful launch day. - Drive continued awareness, growth, and adoption of high-PMF features well after launch day — launch is the start of the story, not the end of it. - Serve as a strategic partner to Product, informing strategy during product development, competitive positioning, and user insights. - Collaborate with Enterprise PMMs and Sales to build sales enablement materials that turn product capability into stories reps can use in the field. - Maintain and improve our release comms channels — including notion.com/releases http://notion.com/releases and What's New emails — partnering with Demand Gen and Lifecycle on sequences, webinars, and more. SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING: - A distinctive point of view and the creativity to build narratives that stand out in a crowded, noisy market. - Experience running product launches and adoption programs, ideally at a fast-moving product or technology company. - Strong cross-functional skills — comfortable coordinating Product, Design, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing toward one outcome. - Genuine passion for shaping the future of work with AI, a growth mindset, and a scrappy, high-ownership approach to getting things done. - Sharp writing and storytelling instincts — you know the difference between a headline that's technically accurate and one that actually lands. NICE TO HAVES: - You're already a Notion user, fluent in the product and plugged into the community. - You look beyond just AI & tech companies for creative inspiration - You're a pro at building and using agents — inside Notion and beyond. - PMM experience at a larger company — though we care more about your instincts and ownership than your resume's logos. Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below.
