Product Manager, Cyber Security
About Anthropic Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the role Claude is now good at security work. It finds and fixes vulnerabilities in real codebases, triages alerts, and reasons about how an attacker would move through a system, and it improves with every model we ship. Many security platforms build on Claude and we shipped our first security product this year (Claude Security). You'll lead the cybersecurity product at Anthropic. That means setting the strategy, deciding what we build and where we partner, shipping products, and being the company's voice with CISOs, security vendors, and researchers. Some of this is 0→1 (our first-party products are a few months old and the next ones don't exist yet) and some of it is scaling what already works. Security touches nearly every team at the company. Key responsibilities - Set Anthropic's cybersecurity product portfolio strategy and be accountable for the results. - Ship security products. Vulnerability discovery and remediation in Claude Code today and a broader set of capabilities in the future. - Represent Anthropic on security externally, with CISOs, vendors, researchers, governments, and press. - Partner with research. Know where the model falls short on security tasks and help build a plan to improve. - Work with safeguards and policy on model access for Cybersecurity. - Keep the cross-functional threads moving across research, engineering, sales, safeguards, policy, legal, and comms. Minimum qualifications - You've spent meaningful time in security, whether building security products, running a security team, or doing the work yourself in application security, detection and response, vulnerability research, or offensive security. - You've built products or businesses from scratch and taken them to paying customers. - You design for where the models will be rather than where they are. You treat what the model can't do yet as a research target with a reliability bar, and you know what to ship in the meantime. - You have strong product judgment and enough technical depth to read a finding and tell whether it's real. - You're willing to do the unglamorous work. - You communicate well with CISOs, researchers, and executives alike. Preferred qualifications - 12+ years of experience building and shipping products, especially in the security space . - Fluency with AI products: evaluations, model behavior as part of the product surface - Technical background or experience working closely with infrastructure/platform teams - Strong technical judgment with ability to go deep on security and infrastructure topics - Structured thinking and ability to break down complex compliance requirements into shippable features The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Product Manager, Public Sector
About the role Governments do some of the most consequential work there is: deciding benefits claims, getting veterans to care, investigating financial misconduct, running unemployment insurance, and producing the analysis that world leaders act on. Anthropic's public sector team exists to put Claude in the production path of that work. In the US and some allied governments, Claude is already in daily use across major agencies and US states. The next steps need a particular kind of product manager: someone who can walk into an institution they have never worked with, sit with the people doing the work and find, alongside them, the workflow that matters. The best government products we know of started as an idea that came out of the room rather than a requirements document. The scope is large: a product portfolio here is a set of governments rather than a feature area. A year in, success looks like agencies delivering services more effectively because public servants are doing core parts of their job with Claude in the loop, and at least one thing that you learn from them shipping to every Anthropic enterprise. That is a lot of surface; you will have to choose where to go deep, and we will back the choice. We are hiring across civilian, state and local, govtech, and national security portfolios and will match you to one on background and interest. Some portfolios require eligibility for a US security clearance, though most do not. You would be among the first product managers on the team, working with a dedicated engineering and research team and with the policy, go-to-market, customer success, and applied AI leads who already spend their days inside these agencies. In this role, you will: - Alongside GTM, run discovery inside government institutions to find where Claude belongs in the production path of their work, then shape the product around what you find - Own product decisions for our government models and product offerings and the agency workflows built on top of them - Spot the government needs worth generalizing and carry them into Anthropic's broader roadmap. Many of Anthropic’s commercial features started as public-sector customer problems - Help Anthropic navigate government compliance regimes - Partner with our cloud and integration partners You may be a good fit if you: - Have shipped successful products end-to-end. We weigh product judgment above any domain credential - Can point to something you built that was your idea: it came from watching people work rather than from a requirements document - Get things done through teams that don't report to you. In addition to the dedicated team, this role runs through a variety of partner teams inside Anthropic and many offices inside each agency. - Move on your own clock. You have shipped in an organization with a fast cadence, or you set the pace in an environment that didn't - Have built domain intuition fast in large enterprises that do not resemble each other - Are a US person. We have agreements with the US Government that mandate this for these roles. Strong candidates may also have: - Roughly 7+ years building and shipping products, or equivalent scope - Real intuition for how government operates, earned either from the inside or at a digital services organization or by building products public servants actually use - Taken a public-sector or field requirement into a commercial product that succeeded - Fluency with AI products: evaluations, model behavior as part of the product surface - Shipped inside a FedRAMP, classified, or comparable compliance boundary - Negotiated with or steered large partners such as cloud providers or systems integrators - An active TS/SCI security clearance with the US government (relevant for only some roles) - Ability to travel up to 25% of the time The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $305,000 - $385,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. Product Marketing Manager, Knowledge Work - Core Products
About the role There are close to a billion knowledge workers in the world, and only a small fraction of them have discovered what it feels like to work alongside AI that actually raises their game. Most people who could benefit from an AI collaborator haven't tried one yet, or tried once and didn't see what was possible. Closing that gap isn't a copywriting problem — it's a storytelling and enablement problem at a scale few companies have ever had to solve. That's what this role owns. We're looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to own the foundational positioning and story for Claude's core knowledge-work products — Chat, Cowork, and the broader non-coding suite. Everything that helps a knowledge worker understand what's possible, and a buyer decide with confidence, runs through your work: the website, the pitch decks, the battlecards, the persona narratives. You're not just making the case that people should adopt AI — you're equipping the people who decide to buy it and showing the people who use it, at the scale of millions, exactly how to put it to work. This is an individual-contributor role built for someone who wants to do deep, durable craft work on products with enormous, established usage. You'll write the positioning doc, build the battlecards, and ship the persona work yourself, and you'll use Claude and AI-native workflows to keep those foundations self-updating and trusted by every team that depends on them. If you've owned the full product marketing stack for a large, widely-used, fast-evolving product, have building instincts for turning your own PMM workflows into systems rather than one-off documents, and want your writing to be the reason millions of people and the buyers who equip them finally understand what an AI collaborator can do, this role is for you. Key responsibilities - Define the story that gets millions of people to change how they work. Own and evolve the positioning and messaging house for Chat, Cowork, and Claude's core knowledge-work products, so every deck, campaign, and piece of content makes the same compelling case for what's possible. - Give sellers the conviction to close. Build and maintain the sales enablement assets — pitch decks, battlecards, objection handling — that turn a good product into deals won, arming GTM to sell with confidence rather than guesswork. - Equip buyers to make the call with confidence. Own the proof points, comparisons, and narratives that help economic buyers and champions justify the purchase and adoption decision internally, not just the end users who'll use the product day to day. - Make sure the message lands with the right person, in their language. Develop ICP and persona frameworks that translate a broad, varied base of knowledge workers and buyers into insights sharp enough to drive messaging and campaigns that actually resonate. - Make our inspiring story come to life. Own the website and product page messaging that's often someone's very first encounter with what Claude can do for their work — the moment that decides whether they lean in or bounce. - Turn scattered wins into a playbook others can run. Build libraries of top use cases by product and by function or persona, so the best examples of AI-augmented work aren't one-off stories, they're patterns anyone can copy. - Keep every team telling the same story, well. Partner closely with GTM, Marketing, and Partners so they're never working from stale or inconsistent materials. - "Claudify" our own foundations. Build AI-native systems, using Claude and beyond-chat workflows like Skills and automations, that keep positioning, messaging, personas, and enablement current and instantly trustworthy — proof, in how you work, of the same transformation you're asking millions of others to make. - Contribute to how we present plans, pricing, and analyst relations materials for the core knowledge-work portfolio as they intersect with your positioning and messaging work Minimum qualifications - Have proven experience owning positioning and messaging for an established software product used broadly across personas and use cases - Have strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt tone and complexity across formats — pitch decks, web copy, battlecards, persona docs - Have experience building ICP and persona frameworks and translating research into messaging that scales across websites, collateral, campaigns, and content - Have experience building sales enablement assets and working directly with sales teams on objection handling and win/loss dynamics - Are comfortable operating autonomously as an IC, writing and shipping assets directly rather than through a team - Demonstrate systems thinking, and the ability to move fast and with conviction in an always-evolving environment - Are well-versed in using AI — namely Claude — to inform and automate product marketing workflows, and have built foundational systems that inform, update, and share PMM foundations with the stakeholders who depend on them - Have experience marketing AI or productivity software to a broad, cross-functional buyer base Preferred qualifications - Experience with analyst relations processes and reports (e.g., Gartner, Forrester) - Familiarity with plans and pricing presentation and packaging communication - Experience as a Senior PMM or PMM Lead at a productivity, collaboration, or knowledge-work software company with ownership of core-product positioning Role-specific policy: For this role, we expect all staff to be able to work from our San Francisco or New York office at least 2 days a week. We encourage you to apply even if you might need some flexibility for an interim period of time for relocation. Deadline to apply: None. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $320,000 - $320,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. Our job within the Claude Platform is to make sure that every industry, not just software, can build on frontier AI with our APIs and that everyone who builds on Claude prospers by it. The work falls into two pillars that reinforce each other. - Verticals: identifying and building for the next API markets. - Monetization: the commercial machinery that lets the platform do business anywhere, with anyone: a single way for usage that flows through partners, resellers, and other platforms. We're hiring the founding product managers onto this team, and this posting covers all of them. You will own one of the areas below outright, work day to day with a dedicated engineering lead and designer, and be measured on numbers that are company-level goals for the half. Almost none of this exists yet, so most weeks you will be the person defining the problem rather than receiving it. Key responsibilities - Partner and platform billing. How usage that reaches Claude through a partner, reseller, or another platform is metered, attributed, and billed, and the program terms that go with it, so indirect volume can grow without our risk growing with it. - Spend observability and controls. Giving enterprise buyers a precise view of what they spend and where, and turning that into limits and controls they can enforce, including programmatically. - One account, and the startup path built on it. One login and one wallet across the API and Claude's subscriptions, so a builder's first commit, first production call, and first invoice are on a single plan. - A vertical. The platform strategy for a particular industry: what builders there need that the platform doesn't yet do, which bets to make, and shipping them with the vertical's own product and go-to-market partners. Whatever your focus, you will: - Build on primitives owned by the Billing Platform and Auth & Identity teams, and ship with Growth, Go-to-Market and Startups, Legal, Finance, and Data Science - Structure the commercial terms yourself, whether that's pricing, revenue attribution, or partner and startup program terms, with Finance, Legal, and Business Development - Talk to every side of the ecosystem, from enterprise buyers and startup builders to the partners that resell or embed Claude and the industry customers we're building for, and turn it into a roadmap where each new participant makes the platform more valuable to the rest - Own the team's outcome metrics: the share of the platform's business outside coding, new startup revenue, volume unified across the API and Claude's subscriptions, and the volume partners book on Claude, and make sure the instrumentation exists to know whether what you shipped moved them - Write the strategy, the specs, and the analysis yourself Minimum qualifications - Have owned a developer platform, API, billing or money-movement product, or self-serve growth product end to end, and were the person accountable for its revenue or activation number (for most people this means five or more years as a PM, but we care about the ownership, not the years) - Have built with or shipped on top of large language models, and have a view on what changes about billing, identity, or distribution when the customer is sometimes an agent - Are technically fluent: you read API docs, work through a billing, identity, or attribution design with engineers, and make calls on platform primitives yourself - Pull your own data: SQL or equivalent, to define a metric, build a funnel, or size a market - Have negotiated pricing, revenue share, or program terms with Finance, Legal, or Business Development counterparts - Write clearly enough that an engineer, an executive, and an external partner can each see the tradeoff you're making - Care about Anthropic's mission, and specifically about growing this platform in a way where the people building on it share in the upside Preferred qualifications - 8+ years of product management experience - Worked on metering, usage attribution, reseller or cloud-marketplace channels, or enterprise spend management - Taken a developer platform into a new industry, or built product in healthcare, life sciences, financial services, or another regulated industry - Grown a developer product's self-serve or startup business, including its pricing and packaging - Built account, identity, or subscription systems that span more than one product - Taken a product from zero to one, where the users, the product, and the economics all had to be worked out at once The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. However, some roles may require more time in our offices. Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this. We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team. Your safety matters to us. How we're different We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills. The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences. Come work with us! Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the role The People Products team exists to support Anthropic’s mission by defining the blueprint for AI at work. We help hire the best person in the world for every job, ensure manager effectiveness, ramp new hires successfully, and ensure that we apply first principles thinking in how we shape Anthropic’s culture through the tools we build. We cover the entire employee lifecycle from hiring to onboarding, teamwork, and promotions. You’ll work directly with Claude on problems that are genuinely unsolved. You’ll move fast — prototype to production in days or weeks. We believe in cross-functional thinkers who can reason across product, design, and engineering. You’ll be given high autonomy, own your decisions, and ship constantly. If you’ve experienced the pain of bad people practices and want to be the person who fixes them at the most consequential AI company in the world, this is that job. Key responsibilities - Design AI-native workflows across the People Products portfolio defining what is possible in applied AI for people processes - Contribute to the strategic direction of our internal tools, rooted in deep user empathy - Define feature areas with exceptional attention to detail and polish, identifying opportunities to improve quality and consistency of broader flows - Craft beautiful, polished, and delightful user interfaces that build trust and showcase the power of our AI technology - Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and internal stakeholders — HR teams, recruiters, managers — to define product vision, strategy and roadmaps - Rapidly prototype ideas using code and other methods to communicate concepts and build excitement - Find creative ways to ship high-quality work in a fast-paced, often ambiguous, resource-constrained startup environment Minimum qualifications - Experience designing complex workflows, enterprise/B2B SaaS, or people products - Strong portfolio showcasing user-centric design thinking, polished UI craftsmanship, and innovative interaction paradigms - Proven track record of executing end-to-end on large and complex products or a series of products in ambiguous environments - Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and influence without authority - Passion for crafting scaled, highly impactful, safe and beneficial artificial intelligence technologies to enable new possibilities - Experience with prototyping, especially using front-end code (e.g. HTML/CSS/JS) preferred Preferred qualifications - You ship fast and stay in motion. You'd rather get something in front of users this week than perfect it for a month. You prototype in code, stay scrappy when speed matters, and know when to polish versus when to learn. - You're rethinking the basics. Many UI primitives were designed for a different era. You're excited to question fundamental assumptions and invent patterns that feel native to AI. - You're AI-native in how you work. You're already using Claude Code, Claude Design, or similar tools to extend what you can build. You see AI as a creative partner in your own practice. - You stay close to the models. You pay attention to where capabilities are heading, not just what Claude can do today. You design for the product we're becoming. - You elevate craft while moving fast. You care about the details—the pixels, the copy, the edge cases—and find ways to maintain that care while shipping quickly. The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. Product Manager, Developer Productivity
About the role As a Product Manager focused on Developer Productivity, you'll partner with Infrastructure, Inference, Research, and Product Engineering to build the systems that determine how thousands of engineers and researchers at Anthropic develop, build, test, and ship code—the foundation on which every model, evaluation, and product feature depends: - Partner with Developer Productivity engineering teams to own the end-to-end developer experience—from the source control and language ecosystems that underpin our monorepo, to the build and CI infrastructure that keeps thousands of daily builds running reliably across multiple cloud providers, to the acceleration tooling that deeply integrates Claude into every engineer's workflow. - Your work directly impacts engineering velocity across the entire company: defining the abstractions for how code moves from idea to production, establishing the metrics that surface friction before it compounds, and making the trade-offs that keep a rapidly scaling engineering organization shipping with confidence. - You'll drive the evolution of our developer platform through a fundamental shift in how software gets built—as AI agents move from autocomplete to autonomous collaborators, the definition of "developer" is changing, and our tooling, governance, and workflows must change with it. You'll be defining what developer productivity means when a meaningful share of code is written, tested, and reviewed by Claude itself. - You will define and own the strategy and roadmap across build systems, CI/CD pipelines, developer environments, accelerator toolchain management (GPU, TPU, Trainium), and the AI-native acceleration layer that makes Anthropic the most productive place in the world to build frontier AI. Responsibilities: - Deeply understand the needs of internal customers across Research, Inference, Infrastructure, and Product—from researchers iterating on training code who need fast, reproducible builds to inference engineers managing compute-intensive toolchains with strict compatibility constraints. - Define and iterate on the developer experience model: the workflows, tooling primitives, and feedback loops that govern how engineers and AI agents collaborate on code—including how we measure productivity when the unit of work is no longer a human typing. - Partner with engineering leads to design build, CI, and test infrastructure that scales non-linearly with engineering headcount—ensuring that as Claude takes on more of the inner loop, the outer loop (review, validation, deployment) doesn't become the new bottleneck. - Drive product strategy and roadmap for developer acceleration, including AI-assisted code review, agent-driven test generation, automated dependency management, and the governance frameworks that let teams safely delegate work to autonomous systems. - Own the trade-off framework between velocity, reliability, security, and cost—making transparent prioritization decisions about where to invest in human workflows versus agent workflows, and communicating them clearly to senior leadership. - Establish and champion the productivity metrics that matter in an AI-native engineering org—moving beyond commits an
